Rosa Parks Middle School PTA

Dear Eighth Grade Students and Parents:

The end of the year trip to Hershey Park is this Friday, June 4, 2010. This trip is a reward for students’ appropriate behavior, hard work during the school year, and to celebrate promotion to the 9th grade. The trip will take place from 7:45 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and the cost of the trip includes bus transportation from Bill Rohrbaugh’s Charter Service, Inc., lunch and a pass to the park.

Students will need transportation home since we will not be returning to the school until approximately 6:00 P.M.

Students will need to bring money for snacks and souvenirs. Lunch will be provided and organized by parent and teacher volunteers. The trip will take place rain or shine. Students should pay close attention to the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the weather. In addition, this trip includes a good bit of walking. Students should wear comfortable footwear on the day of the trip.

The itinerary for the trip is as follows:

A.M.

7:45 8th Grade students will board buses
8:00 Buses depart RPMS
10:30 Arrive at Hershey Park

P.M.

1:30 Students will check in with teachers at check-in point and eat lunch
4:00 Board buses for RPMS
6:00 Arrive at RPMS

* Please Wear Rosa Parks Shirts and colors on the day of the trip.
