Sherwood High School PTSA – Every 15 Minutes Program

Sherwood High School PTSA – Every 15 Minutes

The Every 15 Minutes Program offers real-life experience without the real-life risks. This emotionally charged program, entitled Every 15 Minutes, is an event designed to dramatically instill in teenagers the potentially dangerous consequences of drinking alcohol and texting while driving. This powerful program will challenge students to think about drinking, texting while driving, personal safety, and the responsibility of making mature decisions when lives are involved.

Every 15 Minutes will take place at Sherwood High School on April 26-27, 2012
__________________________________________________________

We need volunteers to help both Thursday, April 26th and Friday, April 27th. You may sign up for more than one shift if you’re available. All volunteer help is at Sherwood High School. Most volunteer shifts are 2-2 1/2 hours with a 15 minute overlap to ensure coverage. Once your replacement arrives you are free to leave. You will first go to the “Volunteer Registration/Welcome Table” in the Main Lobby (by the Career Center) before you start your shift. You will need to sign the check-in sheet, get your name tag and white volunteer t-shirt, and a map of the building if necessary. All volunteers are to wear their white volunteer t-shirts and name tags when in the building.

NOTE: All volunteers who are in the building on DAY1 (April 26th) at 10:00 are to report to the “crash scene” to help the “Crash Scene Security” direct students. The crash scene will be in the upper parking lot.

Thanks so much for your help!!!
